A full service hair salon.
Dry cut, custom color, keratin, extensions, and styling — built on mastery and heartfelt hospitality, across ten salons in nine U.S. cities.

Christine Thompson.
Owner & Color Director
A celebrated colorist and industry educator, Christine came up through the 1980s and made her name creating rich, natural color that protects the integrity of the hair. She founded Spoke & Weal on a simple idea — that a salon should be named not for a person but for an idea: you need all the spokes in a wheel for it to function.
As a global guest artist and mentor, she leads the color work and the education across all ten salons — corrective color, dimensional technique, and a standard of craft that holds from one city to the next.

We cut hair the way you wear it.
Dry hair doesn't lie. We cut after hair is cleaned and dried, so we can read density, length, and texture exactly as they fall — a shape that looks intentional the moment you leave the chair and grows out the way it should.

Every color is custom.
From all-over color to dimensional, we build the right process for each guest — always with a color-conserve strengthening treatment, and K18 through every service to protect the integrity of the hair.

Everyone taken care of.
We deliver exceptional hair through mastery, heartfelt hospitality, and an experience where every guest feels genuinely cared for.
